Test Practice Sejjaal
In 2022, Jordan, through the Jordanian Social Security Corporation, created a special fund known as the Estidama ++ Fund to provide short-term income support and extend social security coverage to informal workers, including refugees and migrant workers. The Fund was introduced as a response to Covid-19 and the exclusion of a majority of workers in the country who were employed in the informal economy. The Fund is expected to support the extension of social security coverage and the transition of 13,000 workers from the informal to the formal economy.
